Board-certified orthopedic surgeon Jason Hochfelder, MD, specializes in all aspects of hip and knee surgery at Hudson Valley Bone & Joint Surgeons, LLP, in Hawthorne and Yonkers, New York. Dr. Hochfelder has a particular interest and expertise in minimally invasive techniques. This includes minimally invasive total knee replacements, image-guided anterior approach hip replacements, and robotic arm-assisted partial knee replacements. He is also an expert in arthroscopic hip and knee surgery.
Dr. Hochfelder believes it is important to treat each patient as an individual and tailor treatment plans specifically to each patient based on their goals and expectations. Moreover, Dr. Hochfelder always makes sure to explore all avenues of nonoperative treatment and only recommends surgery as a last resort.
Dr. Hochfelder earned his bachelor’s degree in biology at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland, and his medical degree at the New York University School of Medicine. He completed his orthopedic surgery residency at the NYU Hospital for Joint Diseases and furthered his training with a fellowship in hip and knee surgery at the Insall Scott Kelly Institute. Dr. Hochfelder enjoys being active in the orthopedic community and stays current on all of the newest techniques and technology.
